The city of Manchester has had at least 3 greyhound tracks in the past and the one on the outskirts of the city at Audenshaw, between Manchester Road and Old Ashton Road, was situated at 2° 7' W 53° 28' N. It was an independently run flapping track and first opened for business on 15th March 1932. The track was also used for speedway and trotting races, but closed as a greyhound track in the mid-1930s. |
